This got me thinking about how traditional research companies stick it to business everyday. Too many times I hear of $20K surveys and $50K trend studies. It makes me sick to see the money that businesses waste everyday to engage with consumers.
Big data just promises more big prices.
I know folks in businesses are busy. But, if they just stepped back and thought about it, engaging with your customer is really not that hard. Connecting in meaningful ways with consumers is getting easier everyday. Done in the right way, consumers actually enjoy the experience of a client listening to what they have to say.
